LOCHNIVAR Clyde Puffer Plans

Clyde Puffers were small coastal cargo ships used in west coast of scotland to carry goods between islands through canals... Puffers had steam engines and the "Puffer" name came from the sound of the old steam engines. With the improvement in steam technology, they no more puffed but the name standed still... You can find more info on internet about puffers, especially about the "Vital Spark"
I built a small one from this plan by printing it on A4 paper, it has no scale information, so we can say that you're a little bit free on it...

Noname Cargo Ship Plans

This model ship plan was published in Spanish as "Carguero Shelter" . I also saw it in several web sites, they took "Carguero Shelter" as the name of the ship. But Carguero means freighter in Spanish and shelter is a type of hatch. I don't know spanish but at least i search a little bit :)
The plans give a good idea about making this type cargo ship with derricks.

TAKA Plans

Taka was the common coastal cargo boat of BlackSea coast of Turkey. There is also similar boats named çektirme. They were handling up to 180 tons and were being used in miscancelous areas from cargo to fishing, even taking sand from the bottom of the sea. Now it is forbidden to build çektirme and taka , cause too much wood was being used to build. The width of the outer planking was 8cm , which made these boats strong. But after technology development, they were not logical solutions for cargo transport and Turkey was heading to land transportation, this is why they are in instinction.

The plans are in two sheets, drawn by Mehmet Özkasım (R.I.P.) . Scale is mentioned as 1/66 . I also found some usefull photos of the original boats. If you google " Taka Model " , you'll find much more...
